Baked Damper Custard
6 slices damper butter jam 1/4 cup sugar 1 pint milk nutmeg
Cooking time: approx. 20-30 minutes.
Cut off crust from damper. Spread with butter and jam, place in the bottom of a pie dish. Mix together the sugar and milk and cover the prepared pie dish. Sprinkle a little nutmeg on top and cook till set and brown.
