I love anything with broad beans or fava beans in it, so thought it was worthy of a post. Broadbean Chinese ChutneyChef: Simon Bryant You need: Broadbeans, 1kg Spicy Marinated Tofu, 1 packet (3 sheets), cut into strips. Chinese Pickled Cabbage, 1 tablespoon, chopped finely Hot Birdseye Chilli, 1 (or 2 if you are brave), chopped Garlic, 3 cloves, crushed Method: Heat a small amount of Peanut Oil in a Wok. Add garlic and cook until it’s dark brown (nearly burnt) Add Chinese Pickled Cabbage and chopped Chillies, and stir. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar, the popped Broadbeans and Marinated Tofu. Quick stir and mix in 1 tablespoon of Oyster Sauce. Serve with steamed rice (Soybeans can be used instead of Broadbeans, and for vegetarians, substitute Oyster Sauce with Vegetarian Oyster Sauce) From: www.abc.net.au/adelaide/stories/s1620923.htm
