Lol Linda, no snakes sounds perfect to me!
I think it's very common to get caught up in the dream house thing. As time goes on, though, a lot of us realise that what we dream of may not reflect our reality and what we really want in life.
It's a bold move to let go of that dream and move somewhere so different from what you're used to.
I hope that you get a lot of satisfaction from pursuing your dream, Linda.

Thanks, Braided-rug and Violet.
I so agree with what you wrote Violet. My life looks totally different today than what I thought it would look like when I reached this age.
Linda
(I was happy too, to hear there were no snakes, also no skunks, porcupines or groundhogs. ;D)

Linda I just noticed on your blog that you have an online tea store and also make chocolates to sell? Tell me about the fun bits of having an online tea store.

Well....unfortunately, I haven't done a lot with it since we've moved. A bit.....but not as much as I would have liked. I don't actually stock any, my supplier ships it direct for me to my customer. The arrangement works out well. Most of what I do is with the chocolate (although it is secondary to my kids at this point. I see my first and most important job as being a mom). I started working with chocolate after my dd was born, more of a hobby. I used to work with the cheaper chocolate but I've always had a taste for the pure stuff, so I learned how to work with that. I use Belgian and French. I like it because of the flexibility. I can arrange it around the dc and my schedule. I do a lot of moulded items (suckers, themed items etc.), almond barks and truffles (for weddings etc..). It's led to some different directions than I would have thought possible in the beginning (like doing demos/classes for ladies groups, a chocolate making day with our homeschooling group, I taught a work shop at our local college...etc.) Linda

What an excellent skill to have. A woman I've been friendly with for years only just told us a couple of months ago that she too has learned how to make chocolate. A fellow from Belgium taught her, and she and her husband ran a shop for years. It was a surprising revelation. Now if we could just convince her to make us some lol.
