Annette's Cappuccino SliceSee link below for photo. Ingredients: * 1000g Olive Oil * 581g Grapeseed Oil * 20g GMO Free Canola Oil * 500g Coconut Oil * 200g Palm Oil * 100g Shea Butter * 20g Castor oil for superfatting * Additives: * 720g Organic Soy Milk steeping with 1 Tblsp black tea, ½ tsp Ginger, ½ Cinnamon Stick, ½ tsp Cardamon, ¾ tsp pepper & ¾ tsp Caraway. * 328g NaOH * 25ml Vanilla fragrance oil Method: I made this in the usual CP style. I steeped all the spices in the milk and let cool enough to be able to add the lye. When I did add the lye, the whole thing stank of ammonia. When the temps reached 60oC for the oils and 55oC for the Lye I mixed them together until they saponified and then added the Castor Oil. Once that was mixed in I added the Vanilla and mixed a bit longer until the whole batch thickened up then I poured into the mould. I discounted the water to 30% and I did not have to wait long for it to gel up, probably with in the first ½ hour. Even though this soap has no coffee in it, it really reminds me of a cappuccino. Made the 12 Sept 2004. From: www.soapnaturally.org/soap_recipes/iss6annettep.html
