"Gribiche Mayonnaise Recipe Index Basics, Type Sauce, Stock, Garnish - Sauce, Serves 6, Difficulty 2, Preparation time 00:00:00, Cooking time 00:00:00, Season All year, Cuisine French, Recipe Source Mietta Ingredients 1 Egg Yolk 1 teaspoon dry Mustard Salt And Pepper 2 tablespoons White Wine Vinegar 1/2 cup Olive Oil 2 tablespoons Spring Onions 2 tablespoons Parsley 1 dessertspoon chopped Capers 1 mashed hard boiled Egg Method Place egg yolk in a bowl and add dry mustard and salt and pepper. Add white wine vinegar, then, while beating firmly, very slowly add olive or peanut oil until mixture is thickened and smooth. Stir in finely chopped spring onions and parsley, chopped capers and mashed hard boiled egg. If far too thick, a few drops of water can be added to thin slightly."
