Well... we're still in the waiting process here. But I am really enjoying the school even so.
A couple of weeks ago Tyler and I went to visit a family in their home who use MNVA. They have a little boy in Kindergarten, so it was perfect! We got to see how they do things... and what the curriculum includes. It was nice. And the 2 boys played so well while we big people talked. It was a nice day.
We also discussed the community aspect of MNVA... the mom said she was having a hard time connecting with other MNVA families because everyone seemed so busy. I said I would love to do things with other families. Well, it wasn't more than a couple of days later that she emailed me to let me know that they are planning a trip to the Children's Museum on April 4th and Tyler and I are invited! She said there are 5 families going, so this shoud be fun!
Tonight MNVA hosted an online information session, which was cool. They had it in a chat room where the MNVA people could talk to us. They explained all about the schooling and curriculum and showed some slides. I already knew most of what was discussed because I have been doing so much research, but its always good to hear things again.
So, thats where we are! Waiting for Fall to arrive!
