Yes, I'm having a reorganization ......again! We really need some storage and perhaps a nice shed as we don't have a garage. When the house was added on to in 1991, dh decided to wait a bit for the family room built-ins, and yes, all these years later I'm still waiting.
Anyway, I will give up any pretence at having a formal dining room and turn it into a study/weights room for the boys. Rather ugly, but we're completely out of space. My arms will be aching by tomorrow as the sideboard I'll be moving from the dining room to the family room weighs about a million tons!
Now if I can just find somewhere to put dh's mum's very lovely but LARGE dressing table that's also in the dining room...

Sounds interesting violet!
I have thought a few furniture shifts in my mind, but haven't settled on anything yet.
I had a sideboard, but it didn't fit in my last house, I miss it sometimes.
Maybe having less storage is good ultimately, but then I have a shed. I get nervous when more stuff gets put in there.

Lynn, the ulterior motive is that with everything rearranged, it's easier to clean. hehehe, and they think I'm just a good housewife.....(besides, I managed to work around the sideboard so it was able to stay put
