We call our dry wall gyprock, I am not sure.
All I can work out is that lillymiller sells it there are also whitneyfarms from what I can make out. They have a description on their websites, one says it is mined.

"Gypsum and Clay Gypsum is a natural product that turns sticky, hard-to-dig clay into a friable soil. However all clay soils won't respond to gypsum. To test (Emerson Dispersion Test), put a dollop of clay into a glass and fill with rainwater and leave overnight. If the clay has dispersed through the water, gypsum will work on the clay soil. If it hasn't dispersed, gypsum won't help. The greater the cloudiness of the water, the greater the benefit of adding gypsum and the higher the amoung needed. Sprinkle gypsum over the surface of the clay soil and dig it in. Repeat if necessary. To create even better soil dig in compost as well." From: www.abc.net.au/gardening/advice/default.htm#gypsum
