You sure are full of questions! ;D
Yes, I have 4 clotheslines all are about 30-35 feet in length. And most wash days, when my knees are up to doing the stairs multiple times, I fill them all and have been known to empty the first one and fill it again. One is on a puley system and the other 3 are post to post. I use standard clothespins with the spring, but I do have some of the all wooden pegs too. If I run out of the spring type, I use the others only on towels, they tend to stretch whatever I use them on.

I have a clothes line that revolves around a central pole. There are four lines in a square, lots of lines behind those. I find it too foggy to use in the winter much so I hang inside. I use Reva pegs, they are plastic with little springs.

I finaly got my clothesline up. Now everytime I do laundry it rains! It's 2 posts, 24 feet apart, with 4 lines. I like the wooden spring type clothespins. The plastic ones always break on me.

Hills Hoist is an Aussie washing line. Maybe you have them too, not sure. www.abc.net.au/dimensions/dimensions_in_time/Transcripts/s785953.htmI love the old large silver ones, but have a modern green one now from the previous owners of the house. I think you can can that pegless system on one of the green lines. Note the parrots too in post above on the link.

I use the good ole standard rope from post to post. I love using my clothesline Yesterday I washed Dsons quilt and with it being a warm windy day the quilt was dry in one time and smelled so good.

niceday, dont you just love that smell. Nothing like it. I have bought candles and tarts to burn in a fragrance that is suppose to be like line dried clothes and they just can't duplicate it.

Nothing dries clothes like the sun and wind I think. It's a rare day when I can't hang things outside on my fold-down clothes line, which has ten or twelve lines around 7' wide, or out on the verandah on a drying rack. I use wooden pegs with the spring thing in the middle. If things don't dry completely, or there are alot of thrip about, I throw the clothes in the dryer for 10 or 20 minutes after bringing them in off the line. I find the pegging out quite relaxing, which is good as there's so much of it!

I have a clothes line attached from the back wall of our house going to a cut tree at the end of the yard. I am not sure how long it is, but it is very long. It's an old type of cord, fabric like, kwim? I have wooden pegs and some plastic, but like Karen, I hate the plastic...they all break.
