I'd like to see Hitch as well and there is another one we've been wanting to see but I can't remember the name of it so save my life.
Last movie I saw was Crazy as Hell, it really freaked me out but at the same time made me think about a lot of things. I didn't like that you could see Eriq LaSalle's hiney in it but other than that pretty good flick.

We recently saw The Longest Yard. Dh's pick. It had some funny parts in it, but a lot of language and subject matter that is not company friendly.

Ok--promise you won't laugh??
I've been watching the North and South(from netflix) LOL! It's like 20 years old. I remember my mom watching it back then. There's like 8 or so dvd's...I have one more to watch.
I also have Closer here, with Julia Roberts and is it Jude Law? I'll watch it tonight or tomorrow....

Dh and I went to see "Herbie- Fully Loaded" last night. It was as good as the original Herbie movies. We loved it, and laughed lots.

we went yesterday and saw "Shark Boy and Lava Girl" with dkids. Its definitely a kids movie. I didn't find anything objectionable in it, so that's good. Its 3d, so you need the glasses for some of it.

Dh and I went and saw Mr. & Mrs. Smith last weekend, we acutally enjoyed it lots more than I thought. There was lots we laughed at, especially as a married couple! I'd recommend it, as it's one I'd go and see again, or rent when it comes out on video.

Hi, all,
We do Netflix, too, so watch a lot of series that would not be appropriate for a family hour. But they're good nonetheless! The point of my story is that we just watched Hitch, too, and really liked it--also Bride and Prejudice, which we think may be a Bollywood movie, but am not sure. It was definitely an unusual "hollywood" film if it was one, but fun to watch.

In the small town I live, we still have one of the few remaining drive-in theaters. It is always a hoot to go a couple times during the summer. My daughter and I withstood the saultry evening and went to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Enjoyed very much and as usual, Johnnie does a wonderful job as well as the children. I recently rented the DVD's of Notebook and Million Dollar Baby. Both excellent and the language in both of them was very tolerable. Why can't Hollywood get it in their head that the language in many of their movies is a BIG turnoff.
