Dh and I spent all day Saturday cleaning up th yard and garden...We had put in raised beds in the garden and it didn't work for us, so we pulled them out .. We cleaned up alot of debris from last season, but we have quite a bit of work to do!! I will be painting the fence, and we need to rip out the weed barrier we put down...it didn't stop the weeds from growing, it just stunted the growth of my beets and carrots ...we also have to cut down some ***** willow bushes dh planted too close to the garden(he didn't think they would get so big)..he will take cuttings off of them and re plant them else where... We have always failed at gardening, but this year we are really going to work hard at it!!!

Gardening, ah yes, sounds wonderful Jayne. It is a lovely March day here. Sunny, warm , but oh so windy. If I had lifted my arms when I walked to the mail box I might of blown away..Nah, fat chance...no pun intended..LOL
I don't think we will get much of veggies in this year. Hope Lori and Joey get time too. We will be busy working on the new house and planting shrubs, flowers and trees will be as close as we get to a garden this time around.
I am ready for that though.
