It happens everytime I start a quilt..no wonder my first quilt took four winters to make! There sit all of the peices just waiting to be worked on. But the ground is very dry this year and I am still watering the gardens. I may have to turn on my In-laws auto waters for their yards (they are gone for the winter) because it's so dry. This is how it is for some quilters...some of us must quilt until it is finished and some of us quilt when we feel like it (that would be me). If it begins to feel like a chore, it ain't no fun...and I have enough chores, thank you, I don't need one more!! Funny thing is, I start to eyeball quilt patterns I have stocked up on and those fabrics in the fabric drawer...uh oh....I think I am in the mood to start another one!!! www.quilt.com/BlockOfTheMonth/1997/ArkansasCrossroads.htmlDh' folks are in Arkansas now ( dad is from there)...I might could ge it done for next Christmas....maybe I will make them a wallhanging....hmmm..I will be busy today!

That is an interesting block.
Not that I have an automatic watering system, I can see the attraction to them. Sometimes we are at the new house during watering times, 6-8am and 8-10 pm, we are there in the morning, and on odd days. The plants grow so well. Can't wait to get our other one set up for the other side.
Arkansas is near Tenn. isn't it? Very pretty.
