I recieved Karen's gift just now! I received a beautiful candle with a friendship poem and dried flowers in the candle~wow...it is just so pretty, Karen. I think Karen was a little too generous to me. She also sent me a pair of cute pink flUffy gloves and sock that match! And a cute angel ornament...did you make it? And an oil lamp made by Karen...but Karen...the mason jar was broken... But still I will find a another one to use with your little decorations you put in the jar. Karen~THANK-YOU SO MUCH. You were much too generous to me. (((((((HUGS))))))))

You'll have to imagine my town on the shirt though Somewhere between Carlinville and Jacksonville. I guess they didn't think Palmyra, or Scottville was big enough to warrant a spot on the shirt.

I think I forgot to post that I received my Christmas swap from BR ages ago. It's a smallish bag (not sure what should go in it, but as it's Christmas I think candy canes would be good!) made from calico with redwork embroidery on it and a series of gorgeous, slighty rusted looking bells. The embroidery is of Santa and the alphabet, with the year on it too. It is hand made, and I wish I could work out how to post a pic! It is just lovely, and it looks wonderful hanging on the hallstand. I hope everyone else is enjoying their swaps too!

I suppose you would call it a stocking.

Oh, Lucie, I'm so sorry your jar got broke. I guess I should have wrapped it better. I'm glad you like the rest, though. The candle is from the shop. I just love them, with the flowers in them. The ornament is one of the embroidery floss angels I made. Aren't they beautiful on the tree? I posted the link to the page I got the idea from here: hearthandhome.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=winter&action=display&thread=1131755749

Oh, it's ok for the jar, I will use a similar jar and refill it like you did. The candle is very beautiful. I love it and I put it on a shelf in my kitchen where I can see it everyday and everyone can see it too. I thought I saw one candle like this in your internet store....You know, I find you sell very beautiful and significant gifts. The angel is just so pretty. I will post a pic as soon as I can to show everyone! Again, thank-you, Karen!

Lucie, thank you so much for my beautiful gift. Lucie sent me a minature wardrobe collectable that has little hooks on it for a hat, a purse, dress and a spot for shoes at the bottom. And there is a separate little mat that sits in front of the wardrobe. It's called Suzanna's Sundress.
Lucie, what a wonderful surprise in the mail and so sweet. Thanks again Lucie, I sure appreciate your thoughtfulness. ((HUGS))
