Well ladies, its not official, but we have heard that we are going to ...... Ft Bragg, NC Timeline..... June 2006! We have no orders in hand yet, but there are several people dh works with who have been told. Bad news is, there is talk that there will be a deployment in Nov 2006 as well. I am hoping for the best on that part. Guess I better get in the groove so we can get our place sold quickly! Probably some large decluttering and "flings" coming. lol Such is the adventure we call life in the military!

Cheryl, how far are you from Fayetteville?
I'm used to the moving, its just suprising that so many are going with us (at the same time) and that its so quickly. Usually we have longer before we have to be there.
Like I said though, we don't have orders yet, so things can change.

We found out we were coming here in December and were in by the end of January.
I hope no deployment too. I hope also that you find out exactly soon.

Mel, how long have you been in Tennessee? Where else have you lived? My sister's husband, after she gave up her job to move to Tennessee, has decided to NOT re-enlist.

Ok I thought I replied to this. Must have been dreaming. lol
We have lived in California, Ohio, the Republic of Panama (central america), Georgia, and now Tennessee. Re-enlisting is a hard decision to make. Back when we weren't deploying to so many places, it wasn't a bad living. The only thing hanging over your head were possible overseas duty stations like Germany or Korea, etc. Some people dreaded that, some didn't. Nowadays, its alot rougher with us being spread to so many areas. Well, that's my take on it anyway .
