I loove watching parrots, I heard one this morning and opened the curtains to try to see it. The sunflowers were good, they remember this place as a good place for a feed lol. So they are stopping by more often.

My dh loves to watch the birds. I watch sometimes with him. I especially love the male and female cardinals.

It is a parrot. They have a proper name but mostly I call them parrots. It could be a rosella.

The markings all look so different. My son is good with bird names, maybe I could ask him.

Love those brillant colors.
We don't watch as intently as we did when the boys were smaller. When we were homeschooling, one of Jeremy's science projects was to keep a bird log. Learning experience for us all.

Here are some parrot sounds, it is the one that sounds a little like a monkey I think. It is down the bottom of the page. www.naturesongs.com/lyrebirds.htmlThe arrangement is a little strange.

The lyrebird reminds me a little of our peafowl.
BR, are those limes in that tree in the pic you posted?
