those TV shows where they update a person's look? I can't think of the names of them atm.

Like Extreme Makeover? Dd, younger ds and I used to sit around and watch that when it first came out. We'd oohh and aahh and iicckk over the various changes/procedures and then watch with amazement when the made-over person would appear - they always looked awful. Artificial, and the women looked hard, like men dressed as women. It was horrible in a fascinating way!
I know I'm sounding mean, but the whole effect was invariably too harsh. Some of the changes would look ok, but altogether it was too much. And their teeth always looked too thick and fake. Gee I am mean!

I haven't seen that one. I have watched the Fab Five although I said I never would. But there was another one too.

Ah, the fab five "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". The first series or two of that was great - I loved seeing what they did to the houses! I found it really interesting to see how they re-packaged the men.
There was that English one "What not to Wear" but I only caught that once and didn't like it much.
The Biggest Loser was another one that I remember. Hm, I'll have to think what else there was.

Use to watch. No time for TV now with the extreme makeover going on at this house. LOL
I need one myself though...

Sometimes I do. I like "What Not To Wear" much better than Extreme Makeover. I just can't imagine putting my body thru all that.

I watch What Not To Wear. I have to stop though. Now, everytime I am browsing clothes racks I am fearing Clinton and Stacy will sneak up behind me! Although - that might not be a BAD thing! LOL!

Hm, I will have to try and find some more episodes of What not to Wear if you guys like it. Thinking after I posted about it, I didn't see the actual show, it was an interview with the two women who present it.

If it is the one I am thinking of, it is very good.
