Who all wears make-up? What all do you wear. Do you put it on daily or only when going out???
Me, well daily, around the house if I am not going out anywhere, I put on a good moisturizer after I wash my face and use toner. I might put on a little lip gloss.
If I am going out, and simply running to the store, I put on the above with a little blush and a touch of mascara.
But, if I go to work or out for the evening, I tend to put on foundation, blush, eye shadow, mascara, and set it all with some powder.

Well when I worked I wouldn't be caught without make-up on. ;D
Now I tend to wear nothing or if we are going out or I have an appointment, I wear a tad of blush and some mascara is all, oh and lipstick.
Every time I try to use eyeliner and shadow, I end up looking like a lady of the evening or a raccoon, so I gave up! ;D

You are right Carolyn, in my case less is definately more! LOL My mother actually asked me what the heck I had on my face yesterday! Today I will pay more attention when I put on my blush, guess I was a tad heavy handed and didn't know. LOL

You know Dee, I had to buy a magnifying make-up mirror to assist me..That way I can see how much I get on...I am sure before that I went about looking like a clown..

lol.......you gals are too much!!
I guess I am the odd one here. I mix my moisturizer with my foundation and apply it every morning whether I am going out or not. I do mascara, blush and lipstick. I just don' t feel dressed without it.
I don't apply with a heavy hand as I don't like that caked on overdone look, kwim? And I quit with the eyeliner a few years back because it just started to look too harsh for me. I don't do garish stand out colors for lips or cheeks, just because I don't like it and neither does my dh.
I always give my face a quick blot with the setting powder and a quick smack of the lip stick before my dh gets home. I think he appreciates it and I like to give him a quick wink and a hug when he comes home from work. I like to see him smile! I agree that less is more!

Lynn, I am smiling listening to you talk about your dh that way. Isn't it grand to still be so in love after that many years. I always tell my dh that his cute (60's) waterfall hair do and his dreamy eyes are the things that I was first attracted too. That and his sweet little southern accent.
And yes, God is good. It hasn't always been easy, but it has always been interesting, lol and we are blessed indeed.
I am shooting for 67 years...um let's see..I was 20 when we married so that will make me 87..woo wee..roflol

Only wear make up when I am going to work or know someone is going to snap my picture. I wear muted warm colors as less is more.
