Yesterday I went for a much needed hair cut and guess what....I decided to treat myself to an also much needed eye brow waxing. I was amazed to see all the stray hairs on the tape when she was finished. WOW. I can't see very well anymore, partially due to the glaucoma and the floaters in my eyes and partially due to ummm old age..LOL so I thought I had been doing a pretty decent job of it. Yea right... I look so much better and feel so much better. Amazing what a hair cut and eye brow fixer upper will do for a woman's spirits. Next on my agenda is a massage, a manicure and a pedicure. Ssshhh don't tell dh. LOL How bout you, what makes a new woman outta you.

Thanks Cheryl. I don't do that often. I mean I get hair cuts but usually do my brows myself. I can't see anymore to do them so I thought it would be a nice treat. Dh agreed. I ask him when he came home if he noticed anything and the first thing he said was your eyebrows...but he thought I had them darkened. LOL. Men!!!

Wow you must look great if your dh even noticed that you HAVE eyebrows! I'm so pleased you feel special, and I know what you mean about the floaters and rotten eyesight, it makes the whole eyebrow thing mighty difficult.

Well thanks Miss Violet. I look better...LOL. And I feel better and I guess that is the important thing. It is amazing what a small thing it takes to make someone feel better about themselves.

I need to have my eyebrows and hair done too. I have been putting it off for so long (part laziness and part financial reasons) Tomorrow I need to color my hair though. I've done really well with that and not paying a fortune to have it done at the salon

I'm a wimp when it comes to plucking. I have gotten them waxed twice, and I loved the way it looked. I'd much rather pluck a few at a time after waxing than to pluck all the time. OUCH!
