When was the last time you really pampered yourself. And what did you do to enjoy that pamper.
For me it was this past week, when Ashleigh and I did manicure, pedicure and facials..
Good fun..and so enjoyable. Gotta do it more often.

Just a couple of days ago! and I plan on making this a MUST do at least once a week. It felt so good to just worry about myself for a change.

Good for you Ellise. I think all us ladies should do this on a regular basis. I know it always makes me feel good..

I agree, Cara. It is so hard sometimes as wives and mothers to spend some time on ourselves. We're so busy doing for everyone else.....but it really does make me feel better to do something for myself. And it doesn't have to be expensive. A homemade facial, a bubble bath.....

No I don't either, and it has taken me awhile to say that. For one the bath is too small. Also dd could be out on the street while I am in the bath in the mornings so I tend to be quick.

Our first house that we had for many years, people saw it as humble in was just a rectangular shape made of recycled materials. To me it was great, large bath, privacy, safety for the kids. Great. Don't forget the large gas stove. and a toothbrush holder, and I have to do something about getting one here.

I believe every woman, should have a time to spend on herself. Even if she reads a magazine from cover to cover...or takes a long leisurely bath while the small children are napping..Just anything.
I always feel so much better after I do something total for me.
I think we are taught that if Mom's do things for themself that means are selfish. I think we we do things for us it helps us be better moms and wives with much nicer attitudes....

I used to prop myself up on my bed and read magazines for that reason. Then I got a new higher mattress and it doesn't feel the same.

I know I should think of me more...I just don't know why I don't... I do remember that when I do pamper myself, I feel so much better after.

I actually have to make an appointment to see the doctor about my nails. They have always had bumps. I heard you can get a pill that cures it. So I waited until I weaned my little girl, now I just have to do it and hope he knows about these things.
