As most of you know I went back to the doctor today and he was thrilled. The filter revision and patch appear to be holding as he put it *beautifully*. Wahoo. He seemed to think it turned out much better than he anticipated, but I wasn't surprised it was all those loving thoughts and prayers.
He did have to remove a stitch from the eyeball that for some reason didn't dissolve and that was an ouchie, but hey...
I see him one more time in March and then hopefully I will be good to go for a few more years before I will need new filters.
I am just beyond excited and wanted to share my good news with you all.

Thanks All. I am so happy, the black eye is lightening finally but the blood pooling continues but he assures me it will go away. I appreciate you all so much. God Bless
