Br,
my dh thanks you for this site. He loves squash, all kinds of squash, fixed all ways..I am going to try some of these for him. I personally think squash is pretty for decorating but not much on eating it. LOL. But it is so good for you.
Thanks again.

He is quite welcome. ~ We mostly have patty pan squash in Australia, I'm usually not so fussed about pattypans, Mum cooks them alot and grows them I think. I love this recipe, it looks great, maybe I'll have to try it out, I have basil growing atm. Sour Cream Pattypan 1/4 cup butter 2 tablespoons water 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 teaspoon dried whole basil Salt and pepper, to taste 2 pounds pattypan squash, coarsely shredded 1 tablespoon flour 8 ounces sour cream Combine first 5 ingredients in a skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Add squash; cover and cook until tender. Add flour; stir well. Cook until hot and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
