I have started a couple of blogs: ecosmallholdingdreams.blogspot.comgreenearthspirit.blogspot.comand have some photos of our house and the eco-house where I work. pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/debbee_rose/my_photosI have been quite busy at work and have even taken work home with me! Not a good thing but we have a lot on at the moment, I have a target of completing the website next week! A bit of a mission as it involves asking other people to write bits and pieces and other staff are VERY busy as well! (((SIGH))) We'll get it done somehow even if it doesn't have all the info we want on it - I will post it when it is done!

You have been really busy, rosebee! I know jealousy is not a good thing, so I'll just say that you are very fortunate in where you live and work.

I have just looked at the photos, looks like a lovely environment to live and work. Thanks so much for sharing. Now I am happy I can picture where you are. Good luck with the website. Your blog looks great, I need to look at the other one now.

Another catch-up from me: Has been very cold here - we have had 5 frosts so far this winter. Don't usually get snow in this part of the country so I don't think we will see any. It might be warming up again now - heading towards Spring. Our cherry tomatoes were ripening well into June, which was unusual! Have still got broccoli growing and have started some spinach. Managed to get some sort of website together for work. It is still not finished as some pages have broken links. www.sustaintrust.org.nz. To enter each section, click via the links at the top of the main page. Lots of useful info there! I have been reading some great books which I will post about in the library section. Rosebee

The site looks great, rosebee! Have you seen www.pathtofreedom.com? It might interest you with regard to your veggie garden.

Hi rosebee, delightful to see you. My vegie growing is small, but if we move in the spring we hope to do more. We will have more room on a flatter site with better soil than some places in our garden. Maybe I can try okra again. I have saved some unusual grey pumpkin seeds that will be planted regardless. We may have more water too hopefully. I am looking at the site now.

Thanks for reminding me of the pathtofreedom site, I haven't looked at it for a long time - and I see they have a lot of new stuff - even an online store! Have you calculated your ecological footprint? I require 2.5 earth's to sustain my kind of lifestyle (and I thought I was pretty eco-friendly!?), anyone got another earth and a half??? I like the "hands as weapons of mass creation"....let's see, I need to look at some kind of weapons for the bugs/caterpillars that get the broccoli, the chives and the eggplant!

I tried clicking on the footprint, I was going to give it a go. May try again.
