I was talking to my Mum about crimson rosellas. They are parrots that can be seen in my garden at the moment.
She was saying, and I have a terrible memory, that my Grandfather called them Mountain Larrys and they sometimes were in cages and kept because they could be trained to whistle. What an interesting piece of information!
