Today I bought four studded oranges with pink ribbons. Our daughter 8 really liked them and wants to make some of her own. So I think I will go ahead and buy some orris root powder and make our own pomanders, maybe they can be part of our Christmas display for next year.
They were plain, the ones I bought, but smelt lovely, especially for Christmas.
Made some rissoles for tea and shelled some fava beans, although I should have done it awhile ago. Also I had real corn cobs and took the husks off those. Haven't had alot of luck drying the ones we had the other day. Peeled my own spuds (potatoes).
