I have tried this and it is now a favourite."Indonesian Style Pork Spare Ribs Chef: Kim Mullins This is a fragrant, soupy stew that should be served with rice and your favourite greens. For a heartier meal, add dried beancurd and whole baby mushrooms to the dish. The perfect accompaniment to this dish is Chinese Green Tea. Serves 4 Degree of difficulty: Low You need: 2 tbs vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tsp five spice powder 4 star anise 6 cloves 1 cinnamon stick 450g pork ribs 1 tbs dark Soya sauce 5 cups water Method: Heat oil and fry garlic for a minute. Oh that looks good, dont know if I can find 5 spice pwder of star anise. But it looks good.
