DO NOT STIR THE LAYERS!!
1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup self-rising flour 1/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup milk 2 cups peaches, drained and cut up (reserve juice)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix first four ingredients in a bowl. Pour into greased 8" pan. Spread fruit over top of batter. Combine reserved juice with enough water to make one cup. Heat just to boiling (easiest in the microwave). Pour mixture over fruit. DO NOT STIR ! Bake about 30 minutes, until golden brown.
*** If you are using fresh fruit, add sugar as needed to the juice/water combination
