Sweet-Sour Coleslaw ( Recipe by 1Domestic Goddess )
6 cups shredded cabbage 2 large carrots, peeled and shredded 2 to 4 tablespoons finely chopped onion 8 to 10 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, onion and bacon. In a jar, ( with a tight fitting lid ) mix vinegar, oil, sugar and salt; shake well. Pour ( liquid ) dressing over cabbage mixture, and toss. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator before serving. Serves 6.
