Oreos are extremely expensive here. You can get a package of 8 for almost 3 euros. This recipe sounds good, I am going to have to do a search and see if I can make oreos at home. There is that certain taste that they have....

Oreos are new in Australia. I tasted them first in a Christmas hamper. Prior to this there was another chocolate biscuit/cookie, I've even forgotten the name now and people sandwiched them together with cream to make a dessert.
So I was surprised that oreo blizzard is nothing like the dessert we made years ago. Our cookies are not the same taste as Oreos.
I found this blizzard in a novel I was reading.
