Cake decorator's "basket"
Use a cake pan as a "basket"
Fill the pan with:
pot holders, parchment paper, frosting bags and assorted frosting tips
decorative frosting paste set, assorted sprinkles and nuts
baking recipes, cake plate, cake server

I like this and have a couple of Wilton cake pans around here that would be nice for it. Use those coupons from Joanns, AC Moore, and Michaels to get these items at a nice discount  |

LOL Linda...I have a gingerbread man pan and a Christmas tree pan that I should put up on Ebay.
I started to get into cake decorating, but I didn't like spending so much time making something only to have it eaten (and gone) so quickly lol

I joined one or two cake decorating forums awhile ago. They reminded me of myself years ago when I could do it all properly. So I haven't been back to post for awhile. Luckily my second son loves cake decorating and this has been contaigous. I still have my diamond shaped tins, nothing like Wilton though. I do have a tiny bear one that is cute.
I think I nearly bought a Raggedy Ann one on ebay.

That's a great idea, Cara.
I saw one on Paula Deen's Home Cooking show yesterday somewhat similar. For newlyweds, take a recipe (this one was for chicken divan), print it out on a pretty card, place it and all the ingredients along with a nice set of metal measuring spoons in a pretty basket and instant gift. It was so pretty.
