Ever wonder how you make the degree symbol (º) or the cents (¢) symbol? Well I'm going to show you! ;D

In order to get these symbols you need to do the following:

• Hold down the Alt Key

• Type the number next to the symbol you want using the number keyboard on the right hand side of your keyboard.
Note: You MUST use the number keyboard, this doesn't work with the number keys above the letters.

• Release the Alt Key

• Ta Da your symbol is now there!

Here are the most widely used ones for us. At the bottom of the post I will give you a link to access all symbols. Just thought this would be a shorter list to print out for you.

† = 0134 (this is used in crochet and knit patterns)

• = 0149

™ = 0153

© = 0169

® = 0174

¢ = 0162

£ = 0163

± = 0177

´ = 0180

º = 0186

¼ = 0188

½ = 0189

¾ = 0190
