New Skin Made!

Ok gals I just made my 1st skin, LOL

If you would like to see it, click on Profile at the top of the page.
Then click on Modify Image.
Next scroll down until you get to Select Skin about 3/4 down the page.
Select Hearth and Home #1
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Modify Profile

I want your HONEST opinions please.

Is it easy to read?

Colors easy on the eyes?

Anything else you can think of.

Also I have the new smilies with this skin. Problem is ProBoards won't let me change the symbols/letters that you type for them. I could only exchange others for what they already had in there. So if you type the symbols/letters for smilies (like I do) you are going to possibly get something other than what you thought. LOL

For now, when you want a smilie in your post, click on the actual smilie until I find out from some guru at ProBoards if I can change them.

Oh and that is all the smilies I was allowed. Tell me if you like them or if you would rather see something other than what I have up there.

Deed, I like the new skin, not too bad on the eyes and for me the type is just a bit smaller than the old one is. Other than that I think it is cool!

I wonder how it would look done in pinks?

Too bad they won't let you so more smiles.

Carolyn, I like the new colors. The only thing I like less is the black line at the top and bottom.

I also find the writing is small..that's why I sometimes write in a larger font size.

Again, I really like the new skin. It's warm.

I hope you can get more smilies too! ;D

It's a little bright for me. I like the background. It looks kind of like the wallpaper in my hall! The black bars are a little dark. I think if the text for the boards with new posts were green instead of purple it would have an autumny feel. The orange and black together make me think of halloween or the Malvern Panthers. (Those are our school colors - NOT my idea) I think the black bars and the yellow bar that says "news" should be either the same color gold or orangy that is already there, or something in between.

You see, teal is my favorite color.

Okay gals, changed the font back to the original and mellowed out the colors a bit, I hope anyway. What do you think now?

And the links that say 'reply' 'print' etc... I'm still working on those, I can't read them no matter what color I use, so I'm trying to figure those out yet. LOL

Let me know if you like these smilies. If you do I will put them on the default skin.

Dee, I noticed you took out the black bars. It looks softer now. I like the smilies too.

Yep Lucie, that's why I needed all your opinions. Everyone's monitors view colors differently and that black bar I goofed on, didn't even know there was printing under it!

A bit easier on the eyes now and I changed the font too. I can't play with the size of the font, we each have to do that ourselves. I go to the top of the page, click View, then Text Size and click on Largest for me! LOL I have a real hard time seeing anything on the net anymore.
