I can see the colors drop down box on the right top here of my new post. I tried it the other day, no success.
How do you get that to work, anyone?

Please let me try to help.
When you click on the color, something like this "[ color = Purple ] [ /color ]" shows in the reply box. You need to put your text in between the "tags", ie. [ color = Purple ] HI THERE! [ /color ]
There are several other tags available: [ b ] for Bold [ i ] for italics [ u ] for underline [ s ] for strikethough [ glow=red,2,300 ] for glow [ shadow=red,left,300 ] for shadow [ move ] for, you guessed it, move [ hr ][ size=2 ] for a horizontal rule [ font = Verdana ] for font There are a few others to play with later...
Now I put spaces before and after the brackets so you would be able to read them in this post. This word or abbreviation in the brackets describes what the text that follows is suppose to do. In order to get these tags to work, and to turn them "on" and "off" you need to "close" them. That's where the / comes in. Here are the closing tags:
[ /b ] [ /i ] [ /u ] [ /s ] [ /glow ] [ /shadow ] [ /move ] [ /size ] [ /font ]
You can mix and match these however you want![/i] ([ b ][ i ][ u ] You can mix and match these however you want! [ /u ][ /b ][ /i ])
Just put your opening tags, type your text, then close them out. You are suppose to close them in reverse order, ie. [ b ][ i ][ u ] ... [ /u ][ /b ][ /i ]), but I don't think it matters here. With a little practice you'll be able to cut and paste your tags so you just type your text in the middle.
[glow=blue,2,300][/glow] [ glow = blue, 2,300 ] [ move ] [ b ] [ size = 4 ] HAVE FUN! [ /size ] [ /b ] [ /move ] [ /glow ]

Lynn didn't yours work? I think I'll start a testing page for us, I think I'll need it!
It is easier to test here though with the instructions on the same page. I think I had better print the instructions out for myself.
