I'm new here, but thought I'd throw out the question to most of the quilters here, LOL. Just kidding. I've taken some programming classes over the years, but they were mostly just 10 percent application/90% how to use an application stuff, if you know what I mean. Got tons of books I want to sell off for cheap, but I'm still thinking of trying to learn a programming language that I will enjoy using (maybe programming isn't for me, it's boring). Python, anyone?

My husband is into IT. It came with being an engineer.
He was saying I should learn it. We discussed how I perceive certain jobs as boring, like banking or accounting. My high school teacher used to try to get me to do some more accounting at TAFE. (Technical and Further Education).
They used to teach programming at our eldest son's high school, I will ask dh which languages they used to teach.
I do know terms like Unix, SAP things like that.

Umm, that would be a NO. I do well just to chat, emal and a few other things. Would love to know more about programming though. Perhaps you could do a little tutorial for us..
