Ladies, I see today that one of my egg roll recipes, is now posted as "Photo of the Day" over at: www.recipezaar.com on the main page of the site. If any of you enjoy egg rolls (as much as my family does) this is one recipe you will really like. The recipe has also been rated and reviewed by a few other Zaar chef's. I also have another egg roll recipe that I make a lot, and you can add a variety of meats to it, such as thinly sliced pork steak, medium sized cooked shrimp, either ground beef or pork, or don't add any meat, and make them vegetarian. Here's the name and ID# for the 2 recipes, which I have at this great recipe site: Cindi's Egg Rolls #59455 Egg Rolls #59533 Also, I wanted to say, I now deep fry these egg rolls in Buttered Flavored Crisco, which my family now prefers, then when I fry them in a vegetable oil.

In Australia we have a roll that looks like the pic on the site. It is called a chicko roll. When I was growing up people used to buy them alot, probably still do. You get them from a fish and chip shop, like in England.
We call egg rolls spring rolls here, and I noticed we now have the frozen wrappers in our grocery shop.
