LOL Must be an "American-ism"! We use that as a way to welcome the end of the work week and the start of the week-end.

We even have a restaraunt named TGI Friday's here. Its sort of a sports bar/restaraunt. Probably "pub" would be the closest word to describe it. Its a restaraunt with a bar section in it. Not a full out bar. Does that make sense?
