This can be made for dinner as well and you can vary the ingredients as per your liking. I used my own bread recipe for this instead of buying frozen bread, but that meant I had to figure out my timing as to the rising of the bread dough....
1 Tablespoon butter 1 cup sliced mushrooms ½ cup sliced bell pepper 1 pound purchased frozen bread dough ¼ pound thinly sliced ham ¼ pound thinly sliced salami ¼ pound thinly sliced provolone or mozzarella 1 ½ oz. thinly sliced pepperoni Melt butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms and pepper. Cook, stirring until tender and set aside. On a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and sprayed with Pam, press dough into a 10 inch by 13-inch rectangle. Layer ham, salami, cheese and pepperoni down the center of the dough. Top with the mushrooms and pepper. Fold sides of dough over filling, lapping the edges. Turn over so seam side is down and cover to let rise for 1 to 1 ½ hours (Till doubled). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. I serve some spaghetti sauce in bowls on the side to dunk the bread in or you could serve it with some olive tapenade and a salad or fruit to complete the meal. Serves 4-5 people
