High Fibre Cottage Pie 1/2lb lean minced steak 1 onion (chopped) 2 cups carrot (grated) 1 teaspoon parsley (chopped) - optional 1 tablespoon gravy powder 1 cup water 9oz can red kidney beans (drained) 2 cups mashed potato 1. Fry chopped onion and minced steak. 2. Drain excess fat. 3. Add grated carrot, chopped parsley, and gravy powder, and cook 5-10 minutes. 4. Add water and beans and stir until mixture thickens. 5. Place mixture in heat-proof dish. 6. Top with mashed potato and brown under griller. Season to taste.
