"Hi" Sherry, I'm Cindi ( aka DomesticGoddess ) and welcome!!
Sherry, I see you are from Minnesota. I have a few relatives who live in Pillager & Brainerd, Minnesota. Hubby keeps say'n, someday he and I might move to Minnesota, ( since he retired this past May ) but I keep tell'n him we can't leave our daughters and our only granddaughter who's 5. Minnesota is a beautiful state, but I love living here in Wisconsin.
Sherry, hope you enjoy post'n here. H&H seems like a nice place to hang out at. You have a good day!! Cindi

Thanks Heather!! Hi Cindi! I am originally from PA. I have been in MN for almost 7 years. I like it here, but I miss all of my family and friends back "home". Ya know? But its fun here. We have a few good friends. We do alot of fishing, which we couldn't do near as much in PA. So there are good things about being here. Its nice to meet ya.

Hi, it was lovely to wake up this morning and see your posts here. I love your avatar, welcome! I love your real name as well.
Do you go ice fishing? Upstate NY or PA has more fly fishing doesn't it? I am familiar with Brainerd too.
I would love to go there, DH says one storm and I would be out of there lol.

Hi Lynn! Hi braidedrug! We actually don't ice fish a whole lot... too cold. lol We have been catfishing recently... seems to be our "thing" now. Its so peaceful sitting on the river shore listening to the water. Thanks for the birthday wishes too.

I guess not everyone has one of those fishing hut thingos. Apparently people sleep in those and it is a home away from home.
Tyler must love fishing.

OMG! I have photos from the first winter I was in MN. We rented an ice house on Mill Lacs up north. We drove 9 miles out on the lake to fish.... 9 miles!!!! Anyways.... I have photos of the ice houses people had out there.... they were mobile homes!! Trailers like people live in!! LOL It looked like a trailer park on the lake! I was in awe. We did have an ice house that we made out of a pop-up camper, and it worked pretty well. We had to get rid of it because we had no where to store it when we moved down here to Minneapolis. But it was fun to go out in last year. Yes... Tyler loves to fish. He has already caught more types of fish than most people will ever catch.

That was my impression of them too. I have also seen a photo of a friends' boy with crappies.
