Hi - Thanks for the welcome!
I'm Debby and I am a New Zealander living in the UK (on the border of Kent and London).
Love all kinds of crafts, baking/cooking from fresh (and mostly organic) produce, and learning more about living lightly on the earth we have been blessed with. I am wife to Paul and we are world explorers! I love learning about other cultures and their traditions. I also read a lot of books and have 10 yet to read in my stash....
I believe it was braidedrug (Linda, is that you?) that pointed me here, and thank you to her.

Cara, it was rosebee that inspired my post on Bramley Hedge. I am trying to find out if one of the girls' pictures is Bramley Hedge. Still haven't found a picture of it on the net.

Crafts - I am mostly working on cards at the moment. I joined a craft club a few months ago and have found several lovely papers and embellishments. A few months ago I started re-learning knitting, and then tried crochet (just got a book to help me on that) and have just recently bought 4 cross-stitch patterns. I was never interested in cross-stitch but when I saw these patterns it made me want to learn! I will post pictures on the spinning wheel section.
This Saturday just passed I found a book on how to make the little mice from Brambly Hedge and was telling BR all about it! I have done one mouse head so far!
