How is the school year going along for your dkids? Easy, hard, wishing it was summer, or glad they are back to school?
Since my dkids are grown and flown, I can't really address this issue. But I have to tell you that after a long hot summer, I would always be more than ready for school to start, if for no other reason than getting back into the swing of things. I guess I think there is such a thing as too much summer..LOL

I homeschooled for 11 years and then the Lord opened up a very unique door for us. Our boys now attend a very small local charter school. It is only about 1.5 miles from our country home. We, as parents are encouraged to be a part of the school and are offered many opportunities to assist in the school. It is not a perfect school, but my dh and I like the safe, structured environment and the curriculum. The administration is quick to listen to all concerns and will modify if the need arises.
I do miss them when they are at school. Some days it is just sooooo hard to drop them off and leave and other days, Lordy lordy, I near about push them out of the car! I know that sounds horrible, but I need space and so do they! lol
