My boys start school tomorrow! We'll be up early to get them ready! 6h15 am.... How will I make it?... It was a stressful week here, getting all their things ready for school. And the stress level reached a highest peak at 8h30 pm, when I realized I couldn't find Daniel's stickers for his duo-tangs...I panicked...I had them 2 days ago and now they *disapear* just like that. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!!!! Every year we look like chickens with no heads, the night before the first day of school! I'm going to bed now, ready or not, I need to sleep. See you tomorrow sometime in the day, when I will have decompressed....

What time do you have to leave for school? Hope it is going well. Our school year doesn't start until about February. We have a big year with it and at least talking about it months before helps realise how real it is. I hope you found what you were looking for.

Oh thanks Ellise and Braidedrug! I just got home from Patrick's school. The mornign went quite well compared to last night. Everyone was up early on their own. They all ate a little~they weren't too hungry...it's always like this on first days. Patrick was so proud to go to third grade! His best friend is in his class! He got the only guy teacher there is the school. I was happy because we like this teacher alot. My two oldest sons got him in 3rd and 4th grade. He's a very good teacher and very kind. Daniel started his new school too and he was happy--he has two friends with him in his class. I'll know more how Mathieu's day went when he gets home at 3 pm...his school moved into another school this year, so it is different for him too, except the teachers are the same. And François, well, he starts end of september only. It feels funny being home alone now....I wonder what I should do....? lol....actually I have tons of laundry and some dishes as usual...that will kepp me busy, I guess. Braidedrug, how come your children start in febuary? I'm curious.

Two of them take the bus at 7h15 am and for Daniel I will know only next week. For a few days, I am driving him to school--for 7h45.

I remember leaving for the bus at that time when I was about 11.
We start in late January in Australia. Everything happens around Christmas time. At least though we don't have to worry about Thanksgiving as well, but we do have harvest time and all that at Christmas. Our Thanksgiving I think is in May.
Have you got a child who was at home and has just started school? My daughter starts pre-school next year.
