Thanks for sharing those photos Lucie. I have a crowd about their age, mine are 14, 11 and 8. Then an older and younger one. The middle three are a whirlwind though lol. I think they look well ready for school, you have done well. I just noticed your son wears Element, my older son loves it too.

Awww...thanks! Briadedrug....I think alot of boys that age love those clothes, don't you think?... I don't know how it costs where you live, but boy, they are expensive here...sigh...We usually wait for the big sale they have at the skateboard store near our home, which is only once a year... I forget, but tell me, do you have only boys or girls also?

Thank-you Jayne! Actually, Pierre and I think he should cut it a little..... He totally refuses...Pierre even offered him $25 to have them cut. lol... But I have to admit, when his hair is freshly washed and he hasn't slept on it; I find he looks just the cutest with his curls! You know what I don't understand....when François and Mathieu were young, until 12, they had no curls, but then again, they had very short hair. I noticed that when their hair is longer than 2 inches, it really curls and Mathieu's hair is the curliest. Anyways...momma Lucie will stop blabbering about her sons now...lol... ...don't we love our kids...?

Lucie, I am embarassed to say, is your fourth boy older? I will get a handle on it soon! I have two boys 17 and 14, and three girls 11, 8 and 3.
It is expensive to buy Element here. He got his first at a Mensland store 50 minutes away and was so happy that he found a shop here that had things he liked. Since he has found some nice jeans in our town. Then he bought some Element t-shirts on ebay, and that worked well. He got some even nicer t's I think on his trip to China with the school in June. He used his money that he earned as a packer at the supermarket to buy them and they were so cheap that he has plenty now, which he is very happy about. Now he has bought a cotton jacket from a Chinese seller on ebay and that turned out well too. The Chinese seller must make heaps.
I noticed the same thing with ds14's hair. This year he has let is grow a little longer because we didn't get it cut and all of a sudden we realised how curly his hair was. As a one year old he had curls on the ends but we didn't realise he has inherited his uncle's curly hair!

Braidedrug, I have an older son, François who is 16 1/2. Looks like we have 4 almost all the same age! Your son actually had the chance to visit china with his school? WOW! That's one trip he surely will never forget! Ah, so your 14 yr. old also suprised you with curly hair...lol...isn't it funny how we continually discover new things about our kids... Now my question is....How did you manage to have 2 boys and 3 girls...? lol...I often ask people this...we had 4 boys and one miscarriage at my first pregnancy and my dh's only has brother--they are 4 boys in his family, too...

We are sort of a teenaged boys club aren't we?
My husband has some friends that we have both known for a very long time, and they visited us recently and made a comment about our girls, they had only seen our eldest girl when she was a baby as they went back to their home country. My husband was married before and he had three boys then we had two boys together. My SIL said he couldn't make girls, which is not right. Now we have three of them! I thought maybe I changed my diet or got more passive, they are a couple of the theories going around, I think age has something to do with it as well? But really it is probably luck. I was a bit worried when pregnant with third child that I was going to duplicate dh original family.
My son was so taken with his trip to China, that his teachers were asking why his marks were down a little with school and asked him if he was still living there in his mind! He said "yes". He loved it so much that he has applied to do a double degree in University (I thought it was a split course) one part learning the Chinese language. His marks are back up again and he is trying really hard to get the better Chinese/business courses.
