....ideas on what to make for Patrick's birthday, which is one friday. We usually eat out as a family but we won't this time and I am hoping my parents and sister comes for his birthday. What would you suggest that would be special but not too hard to make?.... I'd liek to make a casserole of something, but don't what. When I have my family over, we usually eat italian macaroni with cheese on top, but I would liek to change a bit.... Thanks!  |

Lucie,
Why don't you let Patrick choose since it is his special day. I always let my children choose their favourite meals on their birthdays. Just have what he wants..

Aww Lucie, I bet whatever he chooses will be special. And I bet your family will enjoy it just because it is Patrick's birthday..and his choice...

Yes Lucie~ I agree with Carolyn's idea. When I was at home growing up, I loved the fact that for my birthday I could request whatever meal I wanted my mom to make and also got to pick out the kind of cake I wanted! That always made the birthday extra special!
