*UPDATE*

The dr. ruled out strep (which I hadn't even considered) and also said that she may have a sinus infection. I am to wait and see how she's doing tomorrow and the next day. If it gets worse or not any better on either of those days, I need to have a prescription filled for a sinus infection.

I also have instructions to give her Emetrol for nausea or vomiting and Mylanta for abdominal pain (I was giving her Pepto).

So I guess it's just a waiting game now. Her fever was down to 99.9 when we went in.

This week is the girls' April vacation. Lauren wasn't feeling well yesterday...was complaining that she felt nauseous and that her head hurt. She slept for a good part of the day and rested watching tv for the rest.

This morning she woke up, and her head was still bothering her. She has a fever of 101.6º. I gave her Tylenol, but it's not helping her head.

I was planning to call the dr. anyway, but she just came down and asked to go!

That's how I know she's really sick.

Poor baby. I hate when I can't help them feel better.

Oh no, poor Lauren.

Does she have a soar throat too? I'm asking because I juat spoke with a friend and her son has the same thing as Lauren plus a very soar throat.

I hope she feels better soon and that the dr can give her something to make her feel better, in the meantime.
