Yesterday. . . .

Understand first that my MIL does not attend the same church we attend.

So, yesterday we walked into church, and one of the elders handed us a
card for Marty's mom- inside were several gas cards to Casey's (for
gas to get back and forth to the doctor's followup visits) and a note
stating that the adult Sunday school class had taken up a collection
and had paid for 25 meals to be delivered from Silver Strands (our
version of Meals on Wheels)!

When we were travelling on Christmas Day I saw some people who had just finished church, they had colorful clothes on, it looked like such a happy event with a pretty butterfly bush in front of them along the fence in a historical setting, lovely.
