I brought joy and hope to my father when I told him we would always be there to help him if he needed anything at all....
I give joy to my aunt Francine when I take her out for lunch....
I give joy to my son Patrick (8) when he is lonely with no friends and I take him to walk in the woods near our home...

Well, I'm gonna turn this around, and say what my hubby did for me today: I awoke this morning and slowly came to life. As I did, my eyes fell upon a rose he had plucked from a rosebush I'd planted in memory of a dear online friend. He even bragged later that he'd blown all the aphids off! LOL (He missed one! I didn't have the heart to tell him!) It smelled wonderful and brought a smile to my day.

We just bought mil a minivan. What really made her happy was a couple of months ago I paid for her to get an eye exam and new glasses.
