Heavenly Father The dark has gone and it is now morning. A new day for us all and we thank you for this. For some of us the day holds excitement. For others there is fear - perhaps for safety, health, the environment. For others it holds great sorrow, loneliness, pain. And for others, another day of familiar routines. Whatever the day holds for us, we pray for your presence as this morning dawns. Share with us in our sorrows or joys as we discover what lies ahead and may we feel you close beside us right from the start. It is relatively easy Lord to think of you in the morning, before the demands of the day make us busy. For this opportunity to share a brief moment with you before we enter into our day ahead, we thank you Lord. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father.. I thank you Lord for the refreshment of a night's sleep and for your gift to me of this new day. Too often it seems difficult to find time for you in the crowded list of things I have to do this day. So, in this brief moment of prayer, I offer back to you the opportunities that today will bring. May I be aware of you in everything that happens to me today and may I be ready to show your presence in my life through any task, great or small, that you ask me to do. Amen!

Good morning, God A new day has begun. I know only some of the things that will happen today. I know that I will need to carry out my everyday tasks - housework, shopping, going to work, caring for my family, enjoying leisure activities. I am safe in the knowledge that whatever happens today you are with me constantly. Guide me throughout today. Help me to make the right choices and decisions, to be loving and respectful to all I meet, to show concern to those in need. I am reassured that you will help and protect me today, especially in the unknown and unforeseen situations. I must remember to speak to you later about how today has gone.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you today that You are the All Sufficient one. There is nothing today that I will encounter that You are not sufficient to handle in and through me. Thank you that this sufficiency encompasses enough strength for all I need to do and be today and sufficient nourishment for my mind, my body, and my spirit. Help me to lean into You and Your word, as You, the Nourisher, give me all I need today to accomplish all that is in front of me. O Lord, You are clothed in splendor and robed in majesty. You are armed with strength and are the Invincible, Unchangable and Unchanging God of my life in whom and with whom NOTHING is impossible! Thank you that you are the Mighty One, armed with strength on my behalf. Grant me divine wisdom in every place I walk today. Give me an undivided heart to stand in awe of Your name. Encase me in Your presence today in a powerful way. In the mighty name of Jesus I ask these things, with thanks, amen.

Father, we’re so thankful that we don’t have to step out on our own and rely on our connections, wisdom, giftings, or experience. Whatever challenge we face can be met by remembering Your promise, “I will be with you.” Just as David, youthful and wearing no protective armor, confidently faced the giant with a sling You reassured him, “I will be with you.” Whatever enemy we face, if we are suited in Your spiritual armor, we can be confident of Your promise to us as well: “I will be with You.” What blessing and comfort these words bring to our hearts this day. Amen.

"Good morning Lord, it's great to be with You again today. I'm so glad You are going to be with me through this day. Help me in all I do and say today, bring a smile to my lips for all I meet today, place on my tongue kind and gentle words for all I speak with today. And when the day's over bring me home safely. In your name Jesus, amen!"
