Stopped at a local grocery store to pick up an advertised special...10 lb bag of leg quarters for $4.90, thinking good buy, the kids are out of school, we can throw some on the grill and do enough for supper too. So I get in line to pay and the cashier scans the bags and they ring up $2.90 a bag....unadvertised special! Hot diggity!!!! I baked a pan full and then packed more in the crockpot for chicken salad, chicken pie, soups.... Anyone got any suggestions for more uses??? TIA

I thought you meant lamb for a moment. I think we are lamb crazy over here lol.
That sounds really great Lynn. Well done.
Chicken legs go well with Apricot Chicken. You need onion soup mix and some apricot juice or apricot nectar which I guess is squashed apricots, baked with the lid on.

chicken fajitas
fried rice
BBQ chicken sandwiches ( bake the chicken, pull off the bones, add BBQ sauce and heat through)

I like Denise's idea of the rice. We had chicken with rice yesterday, jambalaya or paella.
