Thanks to Lynn, my dd found a wonderful place to buy in bulk near her home. It is in the heart of Amish country there.
Dh and I are going to travel over there and check out all the stores next week.
Anyone else buy in bulk and if so, what all do you buy?
I am mostly interested in the things I can use for crafting and the holidays. I will let you all hear about my trip, and what I found and the items I bought.

I mostly buy up to 28 loaves of bread at a time. It is so we don't have to run out again for bread until the next pay day. DH did get 20 litres of milk, (5 1/3 gallons US) but we could have done with more.

I know you will love those places, Carolyn! Carolyn's daughter lives in the same area as my inlaws. My mil introduced me to all those places when we first traveled up there to visit.
Anyhoo, I buy in bulk as much as possible....with the 3 growing boys in the house and a hubby that loves home cookin', I just about have to.
In bulk items I buy frequently:
eggs cheese meat when it's on sale....like ground chuck, I can sometimes get for 99 cents lb. I stock up! milk.....I freeze it. sugar flour tea/coffee bread/snacks...I buy these at the outlet bread store and put them in the freezer too. paper products, like toilet tissue, paper towels trash bags dish/bath soap
Can't wait to hear what you thought of those places, Carolyn. I'll be going in a few weeks for Thanksgiving. And you can bet I'll be shopping too!

On my way over there in the morning Lynn. I will let you know about all the stores and what I find. Can't wait. We will also be celebrating Michaela's fifth birthday. Love it.
