Bar of soap or shower gel soap...

I was thinking on what is more expensive...

Avon is having a big sale of shower gels here in Quebec for .99 each....and I thought--oh wow, what a great price instead of 3.99 on their regular price....

but...after thinking, I'm realizing a bar of soap is cheaper for sure. Here I can buy Ivory Snow bars for very great price...3 for .69 or sometimes other good soaps for like 2 for 1.00. And my boys don't use up the bar in a week. As for the shower gel, they use up a bottle a week, when I buy some....

So in the end, what do you think?...Soap is cheaper, right?.....

I would say so. I always get boxes of 5 and it lasts about 2 weeks.

Bar soap is definately cheaper....I get a ten pack of safeguard at Walmart for 2.50...that lasts us a long time...I still use shower gel sometimes, especially at the gym....That price for Avon is a great price Lucie!!!

Well, I guess you're both right. Bar soap is cheaper. I guess I will continue on buying bars of soap. But I will buy a couple of gels, since they are a good price~just to make change once in a while. Thanks for your input!
